Around the surrounding area

Sawbridgeworth has a range of amenities’ including shops, schools, public swimming pool and gym. Sawbridgeworth also has its own cricket ground and club which can legitimately boast of being one of the leading c in the south east of England. It also has a football club, tennis club and Air training Corp. There are many bus services to the nearby towns of Harlow and Bishops Stortford which both have busy shopping centres and sporting and recreational facilities.

Sawbridgeworth is four miles south of Bishop's Stortford, twelve miles east of Hertford and nine miles north of Epping. It lies on the A1184. The river Stort flows through the east of the town, past the Maltings which is now a small business and quiet residential area. There is easy access for the M11 motorway providing connections to the M25 and Stansted Airport.

Outline of Accommodation

Every child has their own bedroom with wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table and alarm clock. In every room, there is a TV and internet access which our young people can use at appropriate times. Young people coming in to our care will be able to choose the colour of their own bedrooms and, over time, design and accessorise them in a style of their own choice.
